Improving the lives of animals in
owen county

About Us

As a young child, founder Pam Browning, always had a passion for animals. The Sanctuary at Browning Farms was started in 1999 when she bought her first piece of property near Spencer, Indiana in Owen County. Pam cared for the animals on her own until 2013, when she incorporated as a 501c3 nonprofit and Pam became the president of the sanctuary. The property has since grown to 110 acres and is home to many animals from dogs and cats to llamas, pigs, goats, steer, and everything in between.
